Daksh to compete in Noida to show strength in Asia Pacific Deaf Games

Uttar Pradesh News Desk: Daksh Raj of the city will represent the Indian team in the badminton competition of Asia Pacific Deaf Games. The competition will be held in Malaysia from December 1 to 8. This will be Daksh’s first international competition.

Daksh Raj has been learning the nuances of the game for more than one and a half years at Sunrise Shuttlers Academy located in Sector-104. He will participate in singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team events in the badminton event of the Asia Pacific Deaf Games. Before this, he has performed brilliantly in state level and national level deaf badminton competitions. Daksh Raj is originally from Lucknow. Currently he is in the practice camp organized for the Deaf Games. This practice is going on in the camp. Local trainer Kusum Singh said that Daksh has worked hard during the last one and a half years. His game is continuously improving. There is every hope from him to win a medal in the Asia Pacific Deaf Games. Apart from these, many players are performing well in different competitions.

Have performed well at the national level

Daksh has performed brilliantly in national level deaf badminton competitions. At the same time, before Daksh, other shuttlers of the district have performed brilliantly in national para and deaf badminton. Para Olympic Suhas LY won silver medal in badminton. During that time he was the DM of the district. Parul Parmar has won medals in many international competitions. She also practices in Noida. Apart from these, Rohit Anand has also won international medal in deaf badminton.

Riddhima will represent UP in Under-19

Riddhima Singh of Sector-29 will represent Uttar Pradesh in the National Under-19 Badminton Championship. She will show her talent in the doubles category. Divyanshi from Agra will show her strength with him in the doubles category. Riddhima Singh had earlier been the champion of UP Under-19 doubles category. She has also performed well in the singles category, but she has been even better in the doubles category as compared to singles. Therefore, better performance is expected from him in this competition also. Riddhima Singh has already represented UP in national badminton competitions.
