Yogi Adityanath has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. More than four dozen ministers have also taken oath along with Yogi, who made a record of assuming power for the second time in a row. Even though the BJP did not field any Muslim candidate in the election, Danish Azad Ansari has been made a minister, giving representation to the minority community in the government.
Danish Azad Ansari, 34, a resident of Ballia, is the State General Secretary of the BJP Minority Front. Azad, who started his political career as a student leader from Lucknow University, has held several positions in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, a student organization of the BJP.

Danish, who did B.Com from Lucknow University in 2009, has done PG from Total Quality Management. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
Azad had worked hard to instill confidence in the BJP in the minority community in the 2022 assembly elections. He was constantly trying to make the people of the Muslim community believe that only the BJP government can do their development. Danish Azad is also considered close to CM Yogi. He has also been a member of Fakhruddin Ali Memorial Committee of UP Government. Apart from this, he is also a member of the State Language Committee.
