Dausa. A tribute program was organized at Ralavata Vidyalaya on the 20th death anniversary of freedom fighter and Azad Hind Fauj soldier Shankar Ram Gurjar. On this occasion, the dress was distributed to the students and plantation was also done in the school premises.
Remember life and struggle
On the 20th death anniversary of Shankar Ram Gurjar, a resident of village Ralavata, he was paid floral tributes in the school. Gurjar’s son Ram Ratan Gurjar told about his life and struggle. He said that freedom fighter Gurjar did important work in countries like Burma, Rangoon, Japan, staying in Azad Hind Fauj under opposite and odd circumstances. After the independence of the country, the first flag hoisting program of the tricolor in Dausa was also done by his lotus.
Life is said to be inspiring
Principal Bhagat Singh Bairwa described the life of freedom fighter Shankar Ram Gurjar as inspiring and exemplary. SDMC member and Kargil winner Satpal Harshana shared struggle experiences under the adverse circumstances of the Indian Army.
Uniform distribution and plantation
Uniforms were distributed to the students by Ajit Singh, grandson of Gurjar and family members. On this occasion, plantation was also done in the school by villagers and public representatives.
