Greater Noida. The Mahapanchayat of farmers, which started on Wednesday morning at Zero Point in Greater Noida, was in his favor and all his farmer friends and leaders who were in jail were released and returned.
However, Rakesh Tikait could not reach this Mahapanchayat because he was stopped by the police at Tappal. But, Gaurav Tikait participated in this representing Naresh Tikait and under his leadership it was decided in the Mahapanchayat that till the farmers in jail are not released, the farmers will remain sitting at zero point.
After this, the police received orders to release all the farmers lodged in Luksar jail of Greater Noida. After which the police released the jailed farmers and they started reaching the Mahapanchayat venue with their supporters.
According to the information, a total of 123 farmers were arrested by the police from Dalit Prerna Sthal, who were released. In these, farmers including main leaders Pawan Khatana, Sukhbir Khalifa, Sunil Fauji, Rupesh Verma, Vikas Jatan and Bobby Nagar and other leaders started reaching the Mahapanchayat venue after coming out of jail. His supporters and farmers lifted him on their shoulders and took him to the stage.
After reaching the stage, these farmers addressed their colleagues and said that their movement would start once again from the same place from where their movement had started.
He said that Dalits will start their movement again from the place of inspiration. However, Rakesh Tikait could not reach this Mahapanchayat because he was stopped by the policemen in Tappal.
It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, the farmers who were protesting for their demands were forcibly picked up by the police from Dalit Prerna Sthal, arrested and sent to jail. Many women and elderly people were also included in it, who were sent safely to their homes late on Tuesday night.
