So far, 20 people have been arrested by the police in connection with the stone pelting incident in the procession taken out on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area on Saturday. In this video, a man is also seen with a pistol in his hand. Let us tell you that in the area of Jahangirpuri where the violence took place, it is being said that a large number of illegal Bangladeshis are living there. According to local residents, these Bangladeshis are involved in many illegal activities. These people had systematically attacked the procession of Hanuman Jayanti. On the other hand, this entire matter has now been handed over to the Crime Branch.
Politics has also started regarding this whole matter. The war of words is going on between the leaders of two opposite ideologies regarding the said issue. However, on the day of violence i.e. last Saturday, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has demanded strict action from the Delhi Police under the Centre, after taking cognizance of this episode. Delhi CM also held talks with Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal regarding this issue. On the other hand, the Union Home Ministry had given instructions to review the situation. Keep in mind that many people including a policeman have been injured in this violence.
According to media reports, 60-70 people have been injured in the JD of this violence, in which information about the injury of a policeman has also come to the fore. At present, all have been admitted to the hospital to provide medical help. On the other hand, the police has also started the investigation of this whole matter.
