New Delhi. Police has arrested the accused of writing threatening messages for Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. The name of the accused is Ankit Goyal. Ankit also works in a renowned bank and is a native of Bareilly, UP. He had written threatening messages for Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi Metro. Aam Aadmi Party had alleged that this was happening at the behest of BJP. Kejriwal’s party had also said that if anything happens to the Aam Aadmi Party convenor, BJP will be responsible for it.

Threatening messages were written for Kejriwal at Patel Nagar and Rajiv Chowk metro stations on May 19. ABP News has quoted police sources as saying that Ankit Goyal, who wrote the threatening message, is not associated with any party. He is said to be mentally ill. Police sources also told the channel that Ankit Goyal was earlier a supporter of Arvind Kejriwal and got hurt by something he said. Delhi Police had examined the CCTV footage of the metro station to arrest the accused. In which Ankit Goyal was seen writing threatening messages for Kejriwal on the wall. After this he was arrested.
In the midst of Lok Sabha elections, the issue of writing threatening messages to Arvind Kejriwal had gained prominence. Actually, the opposition has made Arvind Kejriwal its big face. He is said to be in direct competition with BJP. Also, Aam Aadmi Party is continuously targeting BJP over the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor scam case. In such a situation, Aam Aadmi Party got another opportunity to attack BJP due to threatening messages being written on Delhi Metro stations.
