New Delhi. Today all eyes are on the Supreme Court. Hearing on two important issues. On one hand, the new application of Nupur Sharma will be heard once again in the court of Justice Suryakant and Justice JB Pardiwala. At the same time, the bench of Justice Dr. DY Chandrachud, Justice Suryakant and Justice AS Bopanna will hear for the first time several applications filed against the Agneepath scheme. Talking about Nupur Sharma, her application will again be heard by the bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Pardiwala for the second time. Earlier on July 1, while hearing Nupur’s application, the court had made several serious comments against her.
An application was filed on behalf of Nupur in the Supreme Court for urgent hearing yesterday i.e. on Monday itself. Nupur has appealed to transfer the FIRs filed in several states of the country to Delhi and stay the arrest after the alleged derogatory remarks about Prophet Mohammad. At the same time, it has also been said that the serious remarks made by the court last time have increased the danger for them. Nupur has said in her application that now she is getting more threats to kill and rape her.
Talking about the applications filed against the Agneepath scheme, then demands have been made to stop, review and cancel the scheme. Those who filed the application have also demanded from the Supreme Court that this scheme should not be implemented on the youth who are already in the process of getting jobs in the armed forces. What stand the court takes on this, it will be seen today. However, those who have registered under the Agneepath scheme in the Air Force and Navy have shown great enthusiasm. About 7.5 lakh applications have been received in the Air Force and 2.5 lakh in the Navy. Agniveer jawans will be recruited under this scheme. After keeping 25 percent of these, the plan is to retire the rest after 4 years by paying a lump sum of Rs 12 lakh.
