A two-day Chief Ministers’ Council meeting of the Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states was held with PM Modi at the BJP headquarters in Delhi, where all the Chief Ministers were asked to work in mission mode for good governance in their states. The meeting in Delhi, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, lasted for two days, in which many Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy CMs of UP, attended on the first day.

Amidst the political turmoil in Uttar Pradesh due to the lack of expected results in the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised UP CM Yogi Adityanath in a meeting of Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states. He said that the Yogi government is running such a scheme in the state that other states of the country should also implement it.

In the meeting of the Council of Chief Ministers, CM Yogi Adityanath gave a presentation on the village secretariat digitalization and the state’s economy and said that the state’s target is to make the economy one trillion dollars. According to reports, the need to focus more on the Clean Ganga Mission and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was reiterated in the BJP Chief Ministers’ Council.

PM Modi has given a big task to CM Yogi

PM Modi gave special instructions and asked all the states to focus on the ‘Tap water to every home’ scheme under the Jal Jeevan Mission and also said that the ongoing schemes of the central government and the state government should be completed soon. In the meeting, all the Chief Ministers were asked to maintain better coordination with the organization and it was also emphasized that the workers should be treated with respect.

In the meeting, the Chief Ministers of the states were told that the government is working with continuity. All of you should not be surprised about the results of the Lok Sabha elections, all the figures are in favour of the government and despite getting fewer seats in the elections, we are moving ahead. In the meeting, the CMs were told that there is no need to be disheartened, but now we have to work with more enthusiasm and live up to the trust of the people.

According to media reports, after the meeting ended on Saturday, the senior party leader spoke with both UP Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak and asked them to mobilize strength strongly for the upcoming assembly by-elections in the state.
