New Delhi. Delhi High Court reserved its order on the bail plea filed by former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia in the liquor policy scam case. The court has reserved its decision in both CBI and ED cases. During the hearing of the case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has told the Delhi High Court that Aam Aadmi Party will also be made an accused in the next chargesheet to be filed in the case.
Let us tell you that ED has already named Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal as the kingpin of the case and has also made Manish Sisodia the main accused in the case. ED opposed the bail application of Manish Sisodia and argued that efforts are being made by the accused to delay the hearing, in such a situation Sisodia should not be granted bail. Arvind in the money laundering case related to Delhi Liquor Policy. Kejriwal, AAP MP Sanjay Singh and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia were arrested. However, Sanjay Singh later got bail.
The Supreme Court has also granted conditional interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal to campaign, while Manish Sisodia is still in jail. The Supreme Court has accepted Kejriwal’s interim bail till June 1, Kejriwal will have to surrender on June 2. In this case, ED has arrested former Telangana CM KCR’s daughter K. Many other people including Kavita have also been arrested who are currently lodged in Tihar Jail. ED has also included K.Kavitha among the main accused in the case. K. Kavita has also filed bail applications before the court several times but till now she has not got relief from the court.
