New Delhi. India Alliance has announced to organize a rally at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital on Sunday. Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the opposition alliance ‘Save Democracy Rally’. Vehicular movement in the city will be affected for six hours on Sunday.
It is known that many leaders including the country’s top opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav will gather in the rally at Ramlila Maidan on March 31. This rally is being organized in protest against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
According to the traffic advisory, Ranjit Singh Flyover from Barakhamba Road to Guru Nanak Chowk, Vivekananda Marg from Minto Road to Kamla Market roundabout, JLN Marg from Hamdard Chowk, Delhi Gate to Guru Nanak Chowk and Ajmeri Gate, Kamla Market roundabout to Guru. Chaman Lal Marg near Nanak Chowk and VIP Gate, traffic movement from Guru Nanak Chowk to Turkman Gate will be affected from 9 am to 3 pm.

Movement of vehicles may also be banned in many areas, so be sure to know the rules before leaving the house. It has been said in the traffic advisory that diversion can be done at Rajghat Chowk, Minto Road, DDU Marg, Paharganj Chowk and Delhi Gate from 9 am.
It has been said in the advisory that traffic rules and route changes will be reviewed as per requirement, after which changes can also be made. It said that passengers are requested to avoid using these routes if possible and use public transport.
