Haryana Police had declared a reward of Rs 1 lakh for his arrest. According to police officials, there are more than 100 sharp shooters in its gang, who are ready to work at its behest at any time. The team of Special Cell is investigating the matter after interrogating the accused.
Manishi Chandra, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Cell, said that on Tuesday, after an information, the police arrested Kala Rana, a resident of Laxmi Garden, Near ITI, Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, from Delhi. Kala Rana along with his gang carried out dozens of incidents. Kala Rana along with his gang raided a jeweler’s showroom in Ambala City, Haryana on 18 February 2020. During the robbery, the miscreants shot and killed the manager of the showroom.
In the same case, Haryana Police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh on him. In the year 2017, Kala Rana had made a lot of headlines after killing Rajender alias Raja, brother of former MLA Dilbag Singh. An FIR was registered in this regard in Yamuna Nagar. Later it was found that in the year 2019, accused Kala Rana fled abroad with a fake passport. After that he could not be traced.
In February 2020, a gangster named Rajkumar alias Raju was deported from Thailand and brought to India. He told during interrogation that Kala Rana is also operating his gang from Thailand. While sitting from there, he was financially helping Lawrence Bishnoi and Kala Jathedi. In July 2021, the Special Cell team arrested Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi from Saharanpur. Since then, the search for Kala Rana was being done continuously. Meanwhile, information was received on Tuesday that the accused Kala Rana is about to come to Delhi. After being informed, the police team caught him. Police is questioning him and investigating.
