Changes keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections
Virendra Sachdeva was first made the working president of Delhi BJP and in March he was made the president. Since the appointment of the new state president, there has not been any organizational change in the Delhi BJP. After a gap of about 4 months, speculations are being made about organizational change for the last one week. Party sources say that the change would have happened earlier, but due to a month-long public relations campaign, it was postponed for some time. The Delhi BJP team consists of one President, 8 Vice Presidents, 3 General Secretaries, 8 Ministers, one Treasurer, one Organization General Secretary. At the state level, some new faces have to be appointed on these posts only. The change will be done keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year. Those people will be given a place in the core team, who have been sweating on the ground for some time and have a strong hold among the people.
one person one post
According to party sources, the names of the presidents of 14 districts will be announced after the change in the core team. After consultation with the General Secretary of the organization, 3-4 possible names have been shortlisted for each post, who have better performance, good contacts and experience in the party. A person holding any other post will not get a place in the core team. One person, one post formula has been adopted. It is being speculated that those who have been getting a place in the team for several consecutive times, may be dropped this time.
