From tomorrow i.e. Wednesday, there may be heavy rain in many parts of Delhi. On the other hand, rain alert has also been issued in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
The IMD has issued an alert of cloudburst along with heavy rains in the mountains of North India. The Meteorological Department said that the monsoon is running parallel to the foothills of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Nepal, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan, West Bengal and Assam valley, due to which heavy to very heavy rains can occur here. In this situation, the possibility of cloudburst incidents increases on the mountains of North India. Right now, due to heavy rains on the mountains, a situation of disaster has arisen. Many houses have been washed away in the water due to heavy rains in the areas of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh and hundreds of people are expected to be stranded.

Where will there be heavy rain in the next 24 hours
The Meteorological Department said that heavy rains may occur in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during the next 24 hours. A red alert has been issued for heavy rains in Northeast India, especially Mizoram. Light to moderate rains are also expected in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and East Gujarat on Wednesday.
Heavy rain in Delhi for next 5-6 days
IMD said that excellent monsoon conditions are being created for the national capital. Due to this, there is a possibility of continuous rain in the next 5-6 days. Weather activity will be more pleasant in the evening and night and it may rain at night. Persistent clouds, moderate wind and continuous rain will keep the day temperature generally below normal and mostly below 30 degrees.
