New Delhi . Councilors are constantly becoming disillusioned with the Aam Aadmi Party. Meanwhile, AAP’s only transgender councilor Bobby in Delhi has also broken up with the party and joined the Indraprastha Vikas Party with 15 angry councilors.
Describing the reason behind leaving ‘AAP’, he said that we are not heard in the House. We are not given enough time to have public issues. Now in such a situation, which mouth will we take among the public.
He said that we had promised the public that when we become councilors, they will do all their work. We will work to fix the sewer. Will beautify the parks. We will ensure that the people of the area do not have any kind of problem. However, we were not given any budget for all these works. In such a situation, the question arises as to how we will do these works. It is absolutely clear that in such a situation, we will not be able to do any work in the public interest.
He further said that if we had got the budget, then surely we would be able to work for the public. But, we have not got any such facility while living in the Aam Aadmi Party. In view of this, we left this party and joined the Indraprastha Vikas Party.
Bobby further said that we will fulfill all the promises made to the public while in Indraprastha Vikas Party. We will not compromise with the interests of the public.
Let us know that in the 2022 municipal corporation elections, Bobby won and succeeded in becoming the first transgender councilor of Delhi. But, a few days later, reports started coming that there was a lot of issues from his party on many issues, but it could never be confirmed. Now the way he has resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the Indraprastha Vikas Party, his resentment has been confirmed by his Ama Aadha Party.
