Mathura . In two cases related to Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah Mosque in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, Hindu side lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain shared the information on Friday. He said that two cases related to Krishna Janmabhoomi were listed in the Supreme Court. The first case was related to challenging the order of Allahabad High Court by the Masjid Committee, in which we had filed an amendment application requesting that the ASI and the Central Government be made. The High Court accepted our request. However, the Masjid Committee challenged this order of the High Court in the Supreme Court. The case was heard in the Supreme Court on Friday and the court adjourned the case till 8 April.
He said about the second case that the Allahabad High Court had combined 15 cases associated with the birthplace together and the order was challenged in the Supreme Court. Earlier, the Supreme Court had rejected the special permission petition (SLP) of the Masjid Committee and directed the Masjid Committee to file a recall application in the High Court. The recall application was rejected on 23 October. On Friday, the Masjid Committee filed an application to the Supreme Court to resume its previous SLP. The court has issued a notice and the case will be heard with second batch cases.
