Jaipur. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Tuesday visited the under -construction Ganesh Temple in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Devnani expressed happiness over the construction of this temple. It is noteworthy that Devnani is currently on his stay in Germany.
Devnani visited the idols installed in the temple and offered prayers to the country and the state. Devnani visited the temple complex and inquired about the idols and other construction to be installed here.
Devnani discussed the construction of the temple with the trustee of the temple, Wilvanathan Krishnamurthy. Krishnamurthy told Devnani that this temple was established in the year 2006. Berlin is becoming an important center for the Sanatan tradition. This temple will also provide space for worship, marriage ceremony, home entry and other spiritual activities.
Told Devnani that this temple is the pride of being the largest temple in Germany. The temple is built according to Sanatan, Spiritual, Traditional, Vedic and Agam scriptures. It shows Indian culture and traditions.
Representatives of the temple trust told Devnani that the construction of the temple was the result of the efforts of Wilvathan Krishnamurthy, who had dreamed of building a temple 50 years ago in Berlin. The temple has been constructed completely with public support. No government assistance has been used in this. This temple is not only a place for spiritual activities, but it is also a cultural center for the overseas Indian community in Berlin. This historical temple is being built according to the traditional Vedic and Agam scriptures. This temple is not only a sacred site for spiritual activities, but it has also become a lively cultural center for Indian Indian and especially Tamil origin in Germany.
Devnani offered prayers in the temple premises and got information about the architecture and other activities of the temple. He appreciated the cultural and social functions being performed by the members of the temple trust, saying, “This temple is a wonderful symbol of the eternal culture, spirituality and faith of India. It is a living presence of Indian values on the land of Germany.” He said that this temple is playing an important role in deepening the cultural relations between India and Germany. He greeted all the workers engaged in the construction of the temple and the people who cooperated.
