Chandigarh DGR All the members of the Senior Citizen Society Chandigarh planted 50 shady trees in the hospital area located in Sector-32, Chandigarh. On this occasion, Chief Guest Area Councilor Anju Katyal helped and encouraged in planting saplings.
On this occasion, Chairman Pavinder Kumar Arora said that our real wealth is oxygen, which will prove fatal for us. He insisted on planting 50 more trees, which will improve the environment and get relief from diseases.
Councilor Anju Katyal promised that she would always support such social and environmental works.
Social worker and project chief Prem Sachdeva also emphasized the importance and need of trees and said that he will always stand with them. Gurpreet Kaur said that it is necessary to celebrate Amrit Mahotsav every day in today’s environment.
On this occasion Gurvinder Singh, Panj Multani, Kuljeet Kaur, Prem Kaur, Dalip Singh, Veena Khanna, Sanik Khanna, Neeta Arora, Sunita Jain, Janveer Kaur, Manjeet Kaur, M.P. Singh, Raj Kumar, Vinayak ji, Tarun ji, GS Bhalla and Davinder Singh etc. were present.
In the end, Councilor Anju Katyal honored all the members and all the members promised to participate in such works in future as well.
