New Delhi. In the month of June this year, 39 other MLAs including Eknath Shinde had taken a rebellious stand. The effect of this rebellion was that the government of Uddhav Thackeray had fallen from power. After the fall of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government (Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party and Congress) in Maharashtra, the Shinde Camp formed the government with the Bharatiya Janata Party. At present Shinde remains the Chief Minister of the state, while BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has become the Deputy CM. On the one hand, while Thackeray was already suffering from the loss of power from the state, the second crisis is now related to the party (Shiv Sena). Both (Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray) have moved the court regarding this matter. Now if the latest reports are to be believed, the war in Maharashtra over ‘Dhanush Baan’ i.e. Shiv Sena’s election symbol is likely to go on for a while.
