New Delhi. Following the order of Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court, the ASI team today started the survey of Bhojshala located in Dhar. The ASI survey team that came from Delhi and Bhopal first inspected the Bhojshala building in the morning. After this, the workers were allowed entry after checking with metal detector. Useful material has also been brought for excavation. In view of the security arrangements, policemen have also been deployed at various places around Dhar Bhojshala. Not only this, the police is also monitoring through CCTV cameras.

Today is the second Friday of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims. For this reason, special precautions are also being taken. Dhar SP Manoj Kumar Singh said that concrete security arrangements have been made. The order of the High Court will be followed. Namaz will not be affected. People will be allowed entry into the banquet hall for Friday prayers. The survey team will work in the first phase till 12 noon. Work will be stopped for Friday prayers. After that the survey will start again.
Along with the ASI team, other police officers including ASP, ADM, SDM and CSP are present. Apart from this, more than 175 police personnel have been deployed around the Bhojshala premises. Police are also deployed on high rise buildings of the city. Police fixed points have been made at 25 intersections of the city. Four police mobile teams are also continuously touring. Surveillance is being done through 60 CCTV cameras installed at various places. Hindu Front for Justice had filed a petition in Indore High Court on May 1, 2022 regarding Bhojshala. People from both Hindu and Muslim sides claim the Bhojshala. According to Hindu organizations, Kamal Maulana Masjid located in Dhar is actually Maa Saraswati Temple Bhojshala, which was built by Raja Bhoj in 1034 for the study of Sanskrit. Later the Muslim ruler here converted it into a mosque.
