New Delhi. In the ASI survey going on in Dhar Bhojshala of Madhya Pradesh, idols of Maa Vagdevi, Maa Parvati, Bajrang Bali and Lord Ganesha have been found in a closed room under the stairs. Apart from this, about 79 relics have also been found including Shankh-Chakra, Shikhara with Sanatani figures. This room was opened in the presence of both Hindu and Muslim sides. While the Hindu side is considering it as the biggest achievement till date, the Muslim side has objected to it and alleged that these relics were kept here later.
Let us tell you that after the order of Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court, ASI survey of Bhojshala located in Dhar has been started. According to Hindu organizations, Kamal Maulana Mosque located in Dhar is actually Maa Saraswati Temple Bhojshala, which was built by Raja Bhoj in 1034 for the study of Sanskrit. A petition was filed by Hindu organizations regarding this, on which Indore Bench of High Court ordered ASI to conduct a survey on March 11. The court has also asked ASI to submit a report to the High Court within six weeks in this matter.
This survey is being conducted in a modern way in the Bhojshala premises in the presence of people from both sides. People from both Hindu and Muslim sides claim Bhojshala. According to the website of Dhar district administration, Raja Bhoj (1000-1055 AD) was the greatest ruler of the Parmar dynasty. He established a college in Dhar, which later came to be known as Bhojshala, where students used to come for education. The remains of this Bhojshala or Saraswati temple, which was later converted into a mosque by the Muslim ruler here, can still be seen in the famous Kamal Maulana Mosque.
