Dharmendra Pradhan’s statement on NEET Paper Leak
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been under fire ever since the NEET exam paper was leaked. The students’ anger is also growing on this issue. At the same time, leaders of opposition parties are repeatedly making statements on the NEET paper leak case. Meanwhile, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has now given a statement. He said on Sunday, any officer involved in the irregularities in the NEET exam result will not be spared. Strict action will be taken against the officer no matter how high a position he holds in NTA. He also said that there is a need for reform in NTA.
Dharmendra Pradhan said- I assure the students and parents
Speaking to the media, Dharmendra Pradhan said that information has come to light about two types of irregularities in NEET. Initial information was that some students were angry due to less time being given to them, where grace marks were provided. The government has rejected this and as per the order of the Supreme Court, instructions have been given to conduct the examination of 1563 children again. Information has come to light about some irregularities at two places. I assure the parents and students that the government has taken this matter seriously. We will take it to a decisive situation.
Dharmendra Pradhan said- action will be taken against the guilty officers
He said that earlier NTA was an autonomous institution. There is a need for a lot of reforms in NTA. The government is working to reform it. No matter how big an officer of NTA is, if found guilty then strict action will be taken against them. There is a need to reform NTA. The government is assuring for this. Let us tell you that yesterday on this matter, BJP leaders Giriraj Singh and Shahnawaz Hussain had said that Dharmendra Pradhan has taken this matter seriously and he is working on it.
