Rajasthan Deputy CM Dia Kumari on Tuesday imposed a fierce class of officials for the delay in the ongoing construction works in NH Circle Jodhpur. He gave clear instructions to the contractor, Superintending Engineer and Executive Engineer, reprimanding that negligence in work will not be tolerated.
Displeasure over delay in work
The deputy CM expressed displeasure over the slow pace of construction works and said that it is not acceptable to make the public wait for roads, bridges and other basic facilities. He asked the officials how much work has been completed so far and what is the reason for the delay.
Report sought in 15 days
During the meeting, the Chief Engineer was directed to submit the actual status report within 15 days. Dia Kumari said that strict action will be taken if the work is not completed within the stipulated time.
Concern over the problem of public
The deputy CM said that people are facing huge problems due to incomplete construction works. The traffic system is being affected by the delay of road construction and flyover projects, especially, which has also increased the risk of accidents.
Order to accelerate construction works
Dia Kumari directed the officials to complete the construction works and complete it as soon as possible. He warned the officials that if negligence is found, strict action will be taken against the officials concerned.
