But now an initiative is being taken by Bihar Agricultural University to make it even more special. Research is being done on it and efforts are being made to reduce the sweetness in it as compared to before.
When Krishnanand, treasurer of Mango Producer Association, was talked to about this, he told that diabetic patients can still eat this mango. Research is being done on this continuously, and when the research was done by the scientist of Bihar Agricultural University, he told that it contains 25 to 30% sugar, so people can easily consume it but it is better if diabetic patients consume this mango in small quantities. People are well aware of the taste of this mango. The most special thing is that it does not have pulp. This mango is full of only juice, so there is no harm in consuming this mango.
This mango is easily digestible
When the Vice Chancellor of Bihar Agricultural University, Dr. D R Singh was talked to about this, he told that since this mango does not have pulp, it is a completely digestible mango. The reason for this is that it is a very juicy mango, and the amount of sugar in it is very less. Therefore, there is no problem in digesting this mango after eating it. Many types of research are being done on this mango. But this time a special research is being done on how sugar patients can also consume this mango as much as possible. Scientists of Bihar Agricultural University are doing research on this.
He said that we are trying to reduce the sugar in Jardalu mango by 15%. This will help sugar patients to enjoy this mango easily. They will be able to consume this mango in maximum quantity. Continuous work is being done on this. He said that this mango will be ready soon.
