Churu District Collector Abhishek Surana has been shortlisted for the Anganwadi centers operating in the Women and Child Development Department in the district, the all -round development of children and a “growing childhood” for the Scotch Award -2025 for a “growing childhood”. ICDS Deputy Director Dr. Narendra Shekhawat informed that as a result of the increasing childhood program to the District Collector, the national level independent agency Scococh Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. Vasant Vihar, New Delhi has been selected for its 100th Scoot Award Summit -2025. On March 29, 2025, Sameer Kochhar will be honored by the Scotch Award at the event held at Jakarnda Hall, India Habitat Center, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
He informed that in the increasing childhood program, 340 model Anganwadi centers have been developed under physical strengthening at Anganwadi centers operated in the Women and Child Development Department in the district, in which child friendly panting was made and toys, furniture, audio-videos were provided. Special training has been given to Anganwadi workers and their efficiency has been increased.
Through the rocket learning volunteer organization, all Anganwadi workers were trained in digital lamps to the children of 03-06 years of Digital ECCE activities. The parents of all the children were added to the digital learning by adding to the WhatsApp group and at the same time the district headquarters is being operated as a Phulwari (Crach) Pilot Project to take care of the children of the working parents. – Special Network
