District Collector heard problems, necessary instructions for solution

Jodhpur. The district level public hearing was held at Marwar International Center on Thursday under the chairmanship of District Collector Gaurav Aggarwal at Marwar International Center on Thursday to hear the problems of the common people and provide good governance to the citizens. The District Collector, while hearing the problems, took factual information and gave instructions to the concerned officials to ensure quick disposal of the representatives received. During this, Sursagar MLA Devendra Joshi, city MLA Atul Bhansali were also present, necessary guidelines were given.

Sursagar MLA Devendra Joshi and city MLA Atul Bhansali also participated in this public hearing and instructed the officers present in the meeting to be sensitive and active towards the problems of the common people. MLA Devendra Joshi directed the officials that the cases in which continuous complaints are being received should be taken on priority and regular review of such complaints.

MLA Atul Bhansali said that the city’s drinking water, cleanliness, sewerage and road complaints should be settled before the monsoon and local inspection should also be done.

District Collector Gaurav Aggarwal in district level public hearing, while investigating the concerned subdivision officer, tehsildar and district level officials in various cases, directed to submit their cradle report soon. Along with this, he also instructed to make the complainant aware of the information taken by the department in the cases.

A total of 180 complaints recorded

A total of 180 complaints related to various departments including Revenue, Jodhpur Development Authority, Municipal Corporation North and South, Police, Panchayati Raj, Jodhpur Discom, Public Health Engineering Department, Public Works Department, Mining Department, Education Department, Agriculture, Medical and Cooperation, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, RSRDC, RUIDP were received in the district level public hearing. While hearing all these complaints, all the concerned departments were directed to take quick disposal proceedings.

District Collector Aggarwal directed all the district level officers present in Jansunwai to take necessary action with seriousness and sensitivity to the complaints lodged on the contact portal and said that there should be no relaxation at any level in their disposal.
He said that according to the intention of the Chief Minister, the administration should be committed to relieve the common man with mutual coordination to realize the concept of good governance.

The District Collector said that by rapid and resolving the complaints in Jansunwai, the public will increase faith in governance. The resolutions of good governance can be realized only by meeting the expectations of the common man from public hearing.

The department -wise review was also done according to the pending report and time line pendency report received from Rajasthan Sampark Portal, pending cases on Rajasthan Sampark Portal in Jansunwai.

Jodhpur Development Authority Commissioner Vasta Chaudhary, District Council Chief Executive Officer Dr. Dheeraj Singh, Additional District Collector I Jawahar Chaudhary, Additional District Collector Second Surendra Singh Purohit and other concerned departmental officers were present in Jodhpur Development Authority Commissioner, District Council Chief Executive Officer.
