Vair. District Collector Qamar Chaudhary reviewed the progress of Vair block under the ‘Ashanvit Block Program’ identified by NITI Aayog. In a meeting held in the Panchayat Samiti auditorium on Tuesday, he instructed the officials to make effective monitoring of various schemes and speed them so that the ranking can improve.
The District Collector took detailed information on six indicators like health and nutrition, education, agriculture and women and child development. He instructed to prepare an action plan to benefit the eligible people of PM Awas Yojana and to make Ramaspur ODF (open defecation free). He instructed the subdivision officials to hold a review meeting every week with block level officials of health, women and child development, agriculture, and Rajivika. In these meetings, special attention should be paid to fulfilling goals such as pregnancy registration, diabetes, high blood pressure, and nutritional distribution to pregnant women.
The District Collector said that under the Praveshotsav program, the admission and transfer data of students in schools should be compiled. He insisted on making ‘Dharm Mitra’ for the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and benefiting the patients of ‘Food Nutrition Scheme’. Regarding drinking water facilities, he instructed the PHED officer to provide water on priority basis in schools and Anganwadi centers deprived of drinking water connections.
He also said that the Gaurav Path roads should not be damaged while laying the pipeline under the Water Life Mission. CEO Zilla Parishad Mridul Singh, Sub Divisional Officer Sachin Yadav and Bharti Gupta and other officials were also present in this meeting.
