Sriganganagar. The meeting of the district level complaint redressal committee constituted under the Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme in the district was held on Monday under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Manju. During this, necessary guidelines were given by the District Collector while discussing various cases.
In the meeting, the insurance company discussed the resolution of the remaining 106 objections of crop harvesting experiments in the Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme Kharif 2024. The Insurance Company gave instructions to approve the insurance policies revoked by the district level committee, discussing the insurance policies of the Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme Kharif 2023, Rabi 2023-24, Kharif 2024 and Rabi 2024-25. In the Kharif 2023 and Rabi 2023-24, Kharif 2024 and Rabi 2024-25, the insurance company was discussed not to pay the claim by reporting the survey report of post harvesting interaction registered under the spatial disaster and not making claims as per the form rules.
The insurance company also directed to pay payment soon by discussing the calculation of Kul Valen and pending payments of the entire outstanding claim, under the Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme Kharif 2022, Rabi 202-23, Kharif 2023, Kharif 2023 and Rabi 2024, Kharif 2024 and Rabi 2024-25. Along with this, instructions were given by the District Collector to make pending payment to the insurance company soon. The insurance company was also directed to make other payment within the stipulated time.
ADM Administration Subhash Kumar, Joint Director of Agriculture Department Dr. Satish Sharma, LDM Kamlesh Meena, Representative of Insurance Company and others were present on the occasion.
