Let us tell you that on the night of 16 December 2012, a 23-year-old paramedical student was gang-raped by 6 people in a moving bus. After a long legal battle that lasted 7 years, four culprits of Nirbhaya gang rape were hanged on 20 March 2020.

What happened on the night of 16 December 2012
Nirbhaya’s four convicts Pawan, Vinay, Mukesh, Akshay were hanged. All four were hanged at 05.30 am on March 20, 2020. It took seven years to give justice to Nirbhaya and hang the culprits. Delhi Police had registered an FIR against all six people in this case, in which a case was registered against a minor accused under the Juvenile Act.

The minor culprit who incited the five to commit the brutality has been released after serving a 3-year sentence. On 16 December 2024, it will be 12 years since the Nirbhaya incident. That minor person is married and living his life today. In fact, the ‘minor’ person is the only one whose face was neither revealed to the world nor did his family tell anyone.

Did the minor in the Nirbhaya case get married?
The minor accused in the Nirbhaya case is a resident of a village in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. The financial condition of the family was bad earlier, but has improved a bit in the last few years. The father is mentally ill. Apart from the parents, there are two younger sisters and two brothers in the house. The minor man is also married and both his sisters are also married.
