New Delhi. Mafia Mukhtar Ansari has been sentenced to 10 years in the gangster case by the Ghazipur Gangster Court. Along with this, a fine of 5 lakh has also been imposed. The entire hearing process of the court was conducted through video conferencing. Let me tell you, the case of Gangster Act was registered against Mukhtar Ansari in 1996. Keep in mind, five cases were registered against Mukhtar Ansari. Out of which two Varanasi, two Gajapur and one Chandauli case were involved. Earlier, Mukhtar’s aide Bhim Singh was also convicted in the Gangster Act case.

Although the decision on this whole matter was to come on November 25 itself, but after the transfer of the Presiding Officer, a new Presiding Officer was appointed, due to which there was a delay in carrying out the legal procedures.
