Washington: After the official announcement of Kamala Harris’s name by the Democratic Party for the US presidential election, the first reaction has come from Republican candidate Donald Trump. Trump’s campaign team made such a statement on Friday that has created a ruckus in Kamala Harris’ camp. Trump’s campaign team claims that Kamala Harris is the least democratically elected Democratic Party candidate, because not even a single vote was cast in her name. Trump’s campaign team described Kamala’s selection process as “reminiscent of communist China”. Kamala Harris is also upset by this.
Kamala (59), of Indo-African origin, on Friday secured the votes of enough delegates, after which she was officially declared the presidential candidate of the ruling Democratic Party. Trump’s campaign team said, “The people of the Democratic Party are a real threat to democracy. Trump’s team made this allegation
The campaign team said, “In a process reminiscent of communist China, the leaders of the Democratic Party removed their previous nominee when it became impossible to hide the fact of his declining health. After this, they declared Kamala as the party candidate in the least democratic way possible.” The team was referring to Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race. He said that now they want to keep Kamala away from the public as long as possible, otherwise her extreme liberal ideology and her unfitness to serve in the (presidential) office will be exposed to the voters.
Trump called for wreaking havoc on Harris
Meanwhile, Trump in an email to his supporters called for “wreaking havoc” on Harris. Trump is scheduled to address a rally in the key election battleground of Atlanta on Saturday, days after questioning the Vice President’s racial identity. Trump said in the email, “24 hours left to wreak havoc. Tomorrow at this time, Crooked Kamala’s nightmare will come true. When I take the rally stage in a room filled with thousands of MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters in deep blue Atlanta, she will be unable to escape the truth any more.” He said, “Tomorrow I will step on stage and give ‘Open Border Czar’ Kamala Harris the worst defeat of her failed political career.” (Language)
