Don't let the taste of hot pakoras spoil your health..! They will wreak havoc on your stomach, eat them in the rain but be careful, otherwise...

New Delhi. Hot pakoras during monsoon rains may tempt your taste buds, but be careful, they can be harmful to your health. Consuming them during monsoons can also invite diseases. In fact, Ayurveda talks about Vata Pitta dosha. According to it, gastrointestinal diseases during monsoons are mainly caused by drinking and eating contaminated water. Humidity and intense heat create conditions for bacteria, viruses and fungi to thrive and grow in both food and water. Sometimes, floods and overflowing drains mean that dirty water can seep into the fresh water supply and contaminate it.

Natural fire is weak

Ayurvedacharya Dr. Abhishek says, the body’s natural fire becomes weak (slow) during the rainy season. That is because before this, the body’s fire becomes weak due to the summer season, which remains in the same state during the rainy season as well. Also, due to the rain during the rainy season, the acidity in the season increases. Due to which every type of food and water also becomes acidic, due to which the body’s fire remains completely weak.

Difficulty in digesting fried food

Ayurveda says that in case of weak agni, whenever a person eats fried, spicy food like puri, pakoras, kachoris, bhaturas etc., then it becomes difficult to digest them. Apart from this, more oil is used to fry such food, due to which they contain high quantity of calories and fat. Eating fried food regularly during the rainy season can lead to weight gain and problems like obesity.

The risk of these problems also increases

Not only this, problems like heartburn, indigestion, and acidity can occur, besides, fried food does not provide nutrients to the body, there is almost no nutrition in them. Fried food does not provide any kind of nutrients to the body such as: protein, vitamins, minerals etc. Excessive consumption of such food can also cause high cholesterol, heart problems, increased blood sugar or liver problems in the body.

This ghee can be beneficial

Ayurveda experts suggest that you should eat pakoras but be cautious. Pure Desi Ghee can be a good option. They suggest that using A2 Ghee can be the best. The question arises that what is this A2 Ghee? This is ghee made from A2 cow’s milk and it is obtained from Indian breed cows. These include Sahiwal, Gir, Red Sindhi etc. A2 casein protein is found in their milk, that is why it is named A2. This milk is similar to the milk obtained from breastfeeding, buffaloes, goats and sheep.
