Jodhpur. Under the ‘Chief Minister’s Plantation Mahabhiyan – Hariyo -Rajasthan’, the plantation program was held on Sunday in the Gram Panchayat Kankani of Panchayat Samiti Luni in the main hospitality of Parliamentary Work, Law and Legal Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel and Rajasthan Jeeva Jupiter Welfare Board Chairman Jaswant Singh Bishnoi.
The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the government of double engine is working on everyone’s support, development and the basic mantra of everyone’s faith. He said that the government is taking concrete steps towards the welfare of women, youth, poor and farmers. Patel said that the schemes of public welfare are being implemented effectively on the ground, which has further strengthened the public’s trust in the government.
The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that for the first time after independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi put the pride of environmental sacrifice before the nation. He said that by remembering 363 Vishnoi martyrs including mother Amrita Devi, he honored the sacrifice given for Khejdi tree and nature protection.
Patel said that last year 7 crore saplings were planted under the Chief Minister’s plantation campaign, this year, a target has been set to plant and raise 11 crore saplings. He said that we have to plant more trees while remembering Guru Jambheshwar God and mother Amrita Devi.
The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that tree worship is an invaluable tradition of our eternal culture. He said that as we worship the deities, we express reverence for nature by worshiping trees. This tradition shows us our sensitivity to environmental protection.
Water from every house tap
Patel said that due to corruption and irregularity in the water life mission, the work of various projects in Luni region was not completed. He said that the work of incomplete projects of JJM will be completed and water will be transported from tap to every house in the area.
