A heartbreaking case of dowry harassment has come to light from the capital Jaipur, which has shook the entire city. According to the information received, Nasira was married to a young man named Adil in November 2023. Since marriage, her husband Adil and her sisters were pressurizing Rehana and Samina Nasira to bring dowry. When he protested, he was tortured physically and mentally.
According to the victim’s brother Javed, her sister was brutally beaten even during pregnancy. When his health deteriorated, the family took him to many hospitals, but no one refused to recruit him in view of his critical condition. He was eventually admitted to Nims Hospital, where his condition remains very critical.
A complaint was lodged in the Jaipur North Mahila police station in this case, after which the police registered a case under sections 498A and 323 of the Indian Penal Code against accused husband Adil and his sisters Rehana and Sameena.
