Kuwait City: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrived in Kuwait on Sunday on a day-long visit during which he will hold talks with the Kuwaiti leadership on various aspects of India-Kuwait bilateral relations. Jaishankar was welcomed by Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya on his arrival in the country. Jaishankar posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and said, “Namaste Kuwait. Thank you Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya for the warm welcome.
I look forward to my meetings with the Kuwaiti leadership today. His visit will provide an opportunity to both countries to discuss various aspects of India-Kuwait bilateral relations, including political issues, trade, investment, energy, security, culture, consular matters and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, the External Affairs Ministry said in a statement ahead of the visit.
