Bharatpur In Bharatpur, the driver and conductor of a bus will have to face action on the charge of putting a bus filled with passengers in a strong flow of water and putting them at risk. After the video of this incident on Sevala Head Pulia on Rudawal-Bharatpur road went viral, the Transport Department has started the process of suspending his license on the instructions of District Collector Qamar Chaudhary.
District Transport Officer Abhay Mudgal said that barricades were installed on both sides by the administration and the police for caution on the culvert. However, the driver and conductor of vehicle number RJ 05 PA 3954 removed these barricades and removed the bus in a strong current of water. He said that this is a serious offense under Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988. The official said that such acts may threaten the lives of passengers and strict action will be taken in such cases.
