Inspector Rajendra Kumar, in -charge of Gurugram Police Station Sector 53, gave information to PTI that Sumit (20) and Akash (23) were partying and drinking alcohol on Tuesday night. Then at around 10:30 pm, there was a debate between him and the street vendor Arvind (32) near the Wazirabad market.
Police said that soon their debate turned into a fight. And in the meantime, both of them stabbed Arvind with a glass bottle on the head and ran away. As soon as the incident was reported, the police team reached the spot and took the seriously injured Arvind to the hospital. Where he died during treatment.
A few hours later, the police found both the accused in Agra and arrested them from their ancestral village Chaukhra. The wife of the deceased told the police that there was a Golgappa shop near Arvindani Bazaar. Where the accused assaulted her husband. The police have registered a case in this regard under Section 302 (murder), 34 (general intent) of the IPC.
