When the daughter -in -law opposed this, the accused father -in -law beat her up badly. Fortunately, the neighbors came to the neighbor after hearing the daughter -in -law’s screams and saved her. After this incident, the victim went to her house and from there came to the police with her mother and lodged a report against her father -in -law. The incident is from Dasuha police station area of Hoshiarpur.
The victim said that she was married to a young man living in Ballada village three years ago. A few days after the wedding, her husband went to Jamarni to earn a living. Meanwhile, his mother passed away. In this way he and his father -in -law were left in the house. According to the victim, since her husband has gone to Germany, her father -in -law’s intention has deteriorated and she sexually abused her several times. However, he ignored his antics every time to save his house.
Beating for opposing rape
According to the victim, a few days ago, the accused father -in -law came from outside after drinking alcohol and caught her in a state of intoxication and tried to rape her. During this time, the victim complained about her relationship, yet the accused did not consider it, but the victim strongly opposed it. On this, the accused father -in -law was enraged and raised the stick lying nearby and beat him badly. According to the victim, after hearing her screams, the people around reached the spot and with great difficulty saved her from the clutches of the accused.
Police has registered a case, accused arrested
According to the victim, after receiving information, her mother reached there and took her with her. After coming home, she was admitted to the hospital and after being discharged from the hospital, she came to the police station with her mother and filed a case against the accused. On the other hand, Dasuha police station in -charge Harpram Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused under the relevant sections on the complaint of the victim. The police have arrested the accused and are questioning him. Now further action is being taken after sending the accused to jail.
