New Delhi. At least six people were seriously injured when a DTC bus rammed into shops in Jangpura area of the national capital on Saturday. police gave this information.
A senior police officer said the victims were taken to a nearby government hospital where they are undergoing treatment and doctors have declared them out of danger.
“The bus was going from Sarai Kale Khan area towards Jangpura. The driver of the bus lost control and rammed into roadside shops,” the official said.
After this incident, there was a huge traffic jam in the area.
Police said they have recorded the statements of the victims and a case has been registered under various sections of the IPC.
The driver was arrested and released on bail.
