New Delhi . Dubai’s Crown Prince, United Arab Emirates (UAE) Deputy PM and Defense Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum held a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. He reached New Delhi on Tuesday on a two -day visit to India. PM Modi posted on X, “Dubai’s Crown Prince Majesty Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoom was happy. Dubai has played an important role in furthering the India-UAE widespread strategic partnership. This special journey will confirm our deep friendship and will pave the way for even more strong cooperation.”
At the same time, Crown Prince wrote on X, “I was happy to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. Our conversation confirmed the strength of the UAE-India relations, which is based on faith, is shared by history, and is inspired by a shared approach to creating a future full of opportunities, innovation and permanent prosperity.”
This is the first official visit to India by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoom as Crown Prince of Dubai and he is accompanied by many ministers, senior government officials and a high -level business delegation.
Prime Minister Modi organized a afternoon feast in honor of the distinguished guest and Crown Prince, External Affairs Minister S.K. Meetings were also held with Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
Earlier, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar welcomed Crown Prince. He wrote on X, “I am very happy to welcome Dubai’s Crown Prince and UAE Deputy PM and His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Mohammed during India’s first official visit. I appreciate our widespread support and positive feelings for lively relations.”
After Delhi, Crown Prince will visit Mumbai and attend a trade round table conference with major business leaders from both sides. This conversation will strengthen India-UAE Economic and Commercial Cooperation.
