Accused SDM has appeared as dummy candidates not only in SI recruitment exam but also in many other recruitment examinations. During interrogation by SOG, it was found that Hanuman Ram had taken the Patwari recruitment examination, village servant and teacher recruitment examinations as dummy candidates. During interrogation by SOG, he told that due to financial constraints he was sitting as dummy candidate in the recruitment examination.
SDM was in touch with coaching mafia
However, the SOG has found some important clues, which has been revealed that Hanuman Ram dummy had appeared in the recruitment examination as a candidate through a network. He was in touch with some coaching mafia, who proposed to become a dummy candidate instead of several candidates. The SOG team is now investigating whether the mafia had lured people other than Hanuman Ram to become a fake candidate. Apart from this, SOG is also keeping an eye on those who passed the exam with the help of dummy candidates and are now in government jobs.
SDM on remand till 16 April
Hanuman Ram is on remand till 16 April. There may be more important revelations in his interrogation. On Sunday, the SOG team also reached Jodhpur with him. After 16 April, SOG will try to take him on remand again. So that more information can be obtained from the accused.

The SOG team arrested SDM Hanuman Ram of Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer on Wednesday (April 9). It is alleged that SDM Hanumanram took the exam as dummy candidate in SI Recruitment Exam 2021. Information about SDM Hanuman Ram was told by Narpatram and his wife Indra and the Jodhpur Range police handed him over to SOG.
Hanuman Ram got 22nd rank in RAS exam
Hanuman Ram passed the 2021 RAS exam. He secured 22nd rank in this examination. Earlier, Hanuman Ram was also selected in the Statistics Department in the year 2018. During this time he was preparing for the RAS exam. He passed the RAS exam in the second attempt and secured 22nd rank. Hanuman has served as SDM in places of Rama. Hanuman Ram has been working as SDM in Fatehgarh since 11 February 2025. Prior to this, he has also held the post of SDM in Chitalwana, Bagoda and Shiva.
