Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday night. A massive earthquake has struck Bilaspur, Mandi and Kullu of the state. According to the information released by the National Center for Seismology, there was a strong earthquake at 9.34 pm on Thursday night due to which the people of the area got scared and came out of their homes. According to the information, along with Chandigarh, mild earthquake tremors were also felt in various parts of Punjab and Haryana.

According to the update given by the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of this earthquake that occurred in Himachal Pradesh on the night of April 4 was measured at 5.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of this earthquake is said to be 10 kilometers below the ground in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. So far, no news of loss of life or property has been received from the local administration due to this earthquake.
