Nawada . In the Govindpur police station area of Nawada district of Bihar, a man killed his wife and two innocent daughters by slitting their throats in a mutual dispute on Friday. After committing the murder, the accused himself reached the police station and surrendered before the police. Police is now probing the whole matter. A police official said that Deepak Choudhary, a resident of Madhopur village, lived in a hut in the Colni forest located a short distance from the village and used to take care of the agriculture there.
It is said that in the afternoon his wife Savitri Devi along with her two innocent daughters had gone to the farm in the forest to take food for her husband from home. During this, it is said that there was a quarrel between the husband and wife over some issue and the husband killed both the innocent girls by slitting their throats.
After killing all three, the accused husband Deepak Chaudhary reached Govindpur police station and surrendered before the police.
Govindpur station in-charge Dr. Narendra Prasad said that among the dead are Savitri Devi, one-year-old daughter Kajal and two-year-old daughter Divya. He said that the accused has been arrested, while the body has been taken over by the police and sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
The police station in-charge said that the exact reason behind the murder is not yet known. Police is probing the whole matter.
