Vishvas News Fact Check: Amidst the Lok Sabha elections, a video of former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and Rashtriya Janata Dal-RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is going viral. In the video, he is shown narrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech to the public with the help of a Bluetooth speaker. In the video, PM Modi can be heard attacking RJD and speaking on fodder scam and other scams. After investigation it was found that this video is being edited and shared.
Vishvas News (vishvasnews.com) Fact Check team of India investigated this video at many levels. During investigation, it was found that the viral video was created by tampering with Tejashwi Yadav’s video. In the original video, Tejashwi Yadav was narrating the Prime Minister’s old speech to the people, in which he was speaking on inflation. In the viral video, the audio of the Prime Minister’s speech in which he had attacked RJD was removed and added. During investigation the viral video was proved to be edited.

Facebook user Amrita Bhushan Rathod shared a video on May 17. In this, PM Narendra Modi can be heard speaking against RJD. Apart from Facebook, this video is also being shared on X.

To investigate the viral video, the Fact Check team of Vishvas News first extracted its keyframes. Searched them through Google Lens tool. The original video was found on RJD’s YouTube channel. It was made live on 30 April 2024. This video is of the huge public blessing meeting held in Madhubani, Bihar.
After 27 minutes of the video, it can be seen that Tejashwi Yadav is targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and narrating his speech on a Bluetooth speaker. In this, PM Modi can be heard saying, tell me what will the poor eat if inflation continues to rise like this. But the Prime Minister is not ready to speak on inflation. Their ego is so much that they are not ready to say a word about inflation.
After watching the original video, it became clear that in the viral video, PM Modi’s speech in which he had spoken against RJD has been added separately.
On searching with Google Open Search Tool, the fact check team found a video on Dainik Jagran’s YouTube channel. In this video uploaded on June 27, 2023, after 1:41 hours, Narendra Modi can be heard saying the same thing as in the viral video. PM Modi gave this speech in a conference of booth level workers held in Madhya Pradesh.
Vishvas News contacted Arun Ashesh, Bureau Chief of Dainik Jagran, Bihar. Shared the viral video with him. He confirmed that the viral video is wrong. This is edited.
After various types of investigation, it was proved that the viral video is fake. It is being broadcast wrongly.
