After the meeting, the Education Minister said that so far more than two lakh children have been enrolled in class five this year, 1,67,517 children in class ten and 1,61,192 children in class twelve have been enrolled. The enrollment of thousands of children is still going on. He said: “These numbers show that we have not closed any school, but the number of students in government schools is continuously increasing.”
Books and uniforms in government priority
This time 1414,775 sets of books will be distributed. Of these, more than 9.20 lakh sets have already been distributed; The remaining will also be sent soon. The government is ensuring that youth get books and uniforms on time, so that their education is not interrupted.
25% “bright portal” for poor children, new initiative of transparency
The Education Minister said that the government has issued a ‘bright portal’ to guarantee the entry of 25 percent of poor children in private schools. So far 70% of schools have uploaded their seats information on the portal. Strict action will be taken against the schools that do not do so.
Arbitrary decisions regarding private schools will not be tolerated.
Mahipal Dhanda clarified that –
No private school can force parents to buy books or uniforms from a certain store.
The school which changes the dress code for five years or more will be punished.
The government has further responded to a toll-free number, in which 90 complaints have been filed so far.
Target against opposition
Reacting to the allegations of the opposition in the airport case, Dhada said, “Congress people can also talk about selling plots on the moon. We have only worked, but they have made only announcements.
Robert Vadra and ED’s work sharp criticism
The Education Minister said in the context of the call made by the ED to Robert Vadra: “ED is an independent institution that works according to its rules. If someone has illegally made property, the ED would have found evidence at its level.
The campaign to increase the status of government schools and to stop the arbitrariness of private schools will reduce the resentment among the people, so these projects of the Haryana government reflect full support towards the education system.
