The court has taken a tough stand on Dheeraj Upadhyay alias Dinu and seven of his companions in the ongoing criminal case over a disputed plot in Chakeri police station area of the city. The court on Friday issued a non -bailable warrant (NBW) against all these accused. The case is related to illegal occupation, threatening, demanding extortion and criminal conspiracy composition on the plot.

Investigation and search is on in many criminal cases against all these. The police have been reported to have been absconding for a long time, due to which the court has ordered a non -bailable warrant to ensure their arrest.
What is the matter?
According to sources, to capture a valuable plot located in the Chakeri region, the accused conspired and threatened the owner, demanded extortion and tried to capture. On the complaint of the victim, the police lodged an FIR, and during the deliberation, the involvement of the accused came to light.
The case was under consideration in the court, but the accused continued to escape from the appearance, due to which the court issued a tough stance and issued the NBW.
Police action intensified
After the non -bailable warrant is issued, the police have formed teams to arrest the accused. Chakeri police station in -charge said that the location of all the accused is being tracked and arrest will be ensured soon.
Criminal history of accused
Several criminal cases are already registered against Dheeraj Upadhyay alias Dinu and his colleagues, including land disputes, extortion recovery, threatening and assault.
According to police sources, it acts like an organized gang, who has been trying to grab property illegally while avoiding legal processes.
