Nagpur. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde has revealed why he rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray. In Nagpur on Sunday, Eknath Shinde said that he rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray because he had left the ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray. Addressing Shiv Sena workers in Ramtek, Eknath Shinde said that the ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray was being compromised. For this reason he had to rebel against Uddhav Thackeray.
Eknath Shinde told Shiv Sena workers that a party progresses when its leader reaches out to the workers instead of sitting at home. He targeted Uddhav Thackeray and said that Balasaheb always considered party officials as friends, but Uddhav Thackeray had started considering us as domestic servants. Eknath Shinde said that vote to make Narendra Modi the PM for the third time. He said that the opposition’s Mahavikas Aghadi does not have any development agenda. For the first time, Eknath Shinde has expressed his views about the rebellion to Uddhav Thackeray. In June 2022, Eknath Shinde and his fellow MLAs rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray. After which a government was formed in Maharashtra with BJP. Later, after rebelling against NCP, Ajit Pawar also joined this alliance.
Due to the rebellion of Eknath Shinde, Uddhav Thackeray had to resign from the post of CM of Maharashtra. Both the parties had reached the Election Commission claiming to be the real Shiv Sena. Where the majority of party officials were tested in favor of Eknath Shinde. After which the Election Commission considered Eknath Shinde’s faction as the real Shiv Sena and gave them the party’s bow and arrow election symbol. At the same time, Uddhav Thackeray had formed a party named Shiv Sena-UBT. To whom the torch was handed over by the Election Symbol Commission. Later, Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar also considered Eknath Shinde’s faction as the real Shiv Sena. In this matter, a legal battle is going on again in the Supreme Court between the two parties.
