After the voting for the Lok Sabha elections, the counting of votes will begin in a few hours. The counting of votes will begin at 8 am today amid tight security. After a total of 80 days of voting in seven phases, the fate of 8360 candidates of 51 political parties will be decided today. Along with politicians and workers, the eyes of the people of the country will also be fixed on the counting of votes to see who wins.
On one hand, if we look at the exit poll results, then according to it, the BJP-led NDA is expected to return to power again, while the All India Alliance is also claiming its victory. Now, in just a few hours, the counting of votes will begin and after that it will gradually become clear who is going to form the government in the country and who is losing. The Election Commission has made strict security arrangements for the counting of votes so that no kind of disturbance can occur.
The Election Commission will start counting of votes at 8 am> Postal ballots will be counted first and then EVM votes will be counted. The results of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha assembly elections will also be declared along with the Lok Sabha elections. Guidelines have been issued for the smooth conduct of the electoral process and security systems have been installed at several counting centers in various cities.
India Block leaders have urged the Election Commission to ensure that postal ballots are counted and their results are declared before EVM results are announced.
With tight security arrangements in place, Delhi is all set to witness the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi’s hometown, Gujarat is also preparing for the counting day as security forces are practising for the smooth conduct of the D-Day.
