Jaipur . Chief Minister Kisan Mitra implemented by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to provide financial support to the farmers of the state
So far more than 11.55 lakh farmers are getting benefited under the energy scheme. With this, the agricultural electricity bills of more than 7 lakh small and medium farmers in the state have become zero. In this way small and middle class farmers are getting agricultural electricity almost free of cost.

Additional grant of 1000 per month is being given to the electricity bills of 55 thousand 393 agricultural electricity consumers. This grant is being given in addition to the tariff grant being given at present. He informed that so far 11 lakh 55 thousand 393 agricultural electricity consumers have been given additional grant of Rs 742 crore 37 lakh. The burden of this grant is being borne by the state government. Electricity bills of 7 lakh 5 thousand 76 farmers became zero due to giving additional grant of 1000 rupees per month to farmers in electricity bills.
He said that due to the implementation of this scheme on the ground in a better way by the field officers under the able guidance of DISCOM Managing Directors, more than 11.55 lakh agricultural electricity consumers are getting the benefit of this scheme in such a short time. Under the Mukhyamantri Kisan Mitra Urja Yojna, an additional grant of Rs 1000 per month and a maximum of Rs 12000 per annum is being given to the metered and flat rate agricultural electricity consumers of general category rural-block power supply.
He informed that Mukhyamantri Kisan Mitra Energy Yojana was launched by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on July 17, 2021 and the scheme was implemented from the billing month of May, 2021.
Sawant informed that 386382 agricultural consumers of Jaipur DISCOM area have been benefited under Mukhyamantri Kisan Mitra Urja Yojna and they have been given an additional grant of Rs.344.27 crore in electricity bills. Along with this, electricity bills of 290133 agricultural consumers have been issued in Jaipur DISCOM of zero amount. Similarly, in Ajmer DISCOM, 474741 beneficiary agricultural consumers were given additional grant of Rs 255.70 crore and electricity bills of 342319 agricultural consumers have been issued with zero amount. In Jodhpur Discom, 294270 farmers have been benefited, they have been given an additional grant of Rs 142.40 crore and electricity bills of 72624 farmers have been issued with zero amount.
In this way the benefit of the scheme is getting
At present, the state government is giving a tariff subsidy of Rs. 4, 65 paise per unit to the agricultural consumers in the agricultural electricity bill. The power of Rs 5 55 paise per unit is being supplied to the farmers only at 90 paise per unit, the state government is bearing the remaining grant of Rs 4 65 paise per unit. After giving this grant, adjustment of additional grant up to Rs 1000 per month is being made in the electricity bill in the payable electricity bill amount. If in any month the electricity bill amount is Rs.
per month, the balance amount will be adjusted in the subsequent months of the same financial year.
