The company claims that Moraes was pressuring a legal representative of X to remove some content from the microblogging platform. The company wrote in the post that it is taking the decision to shut down its operations in Brazil with immediate effect for the safety of its staff. The company’s owner Elon Musk has also posted on social media regarding this matter. He wrote in his post that it was a very difficult decision to close X’s office in Brazil.
