Indore, New Dunia Rep. After the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, the exercise has started for improving the traffic at Geeta Bhawan intersection. Emphasis is being given to improve traffic on the left turn of the intersection. Since morning, traffic policemen are seen taking the front here.
In fact, action is being taken by the police team in the city against non-standard number plates and vehicles without number plates. In this episode, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Management Mahesh Chand Jain had taken stock of the traffic system at Geeta Bhavan intersection and directed to take action against those who do not follow the rules and to ease the traffic on the left turn of Geeta Bhavan intersection. There is a lot of traffic at the intersection and in such a situation, due to the poor traffic system, the drivers here have to face problems at times.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police had also given instructions for effective action against non-standard number plates, red light violations, and those driving in the wrong direction. In order to make the traffic on the left turn of Geeta Bhawan intersection even more smooth, taking action against the vehicles parked in no-parking on the left turn, the stoppers were also asked to facilitate the traffic. Following his instructions, work has started to improve the traffic system at the intersection.
Problems due to lack of alternate routes
Actually, the drivers have no alternative route to go from the petrol pump located at Geeta Bhawan intersection to Geeta Bhawan. They have to take a U-turn from the intersection in front of AICTSL and come to Geeta Bhavan, which is lengthy. In such a situation, the driver goes from the wrong side towards Geeta Bhawan. After the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, now the entry has been closed from here. There is heavy traffic at the intersection during morning and evening hours and the drivers coming from the right side also cause problems.
